I have a special interest in baby and child development and the baby-parent relationship. I run workshops for parents-to-be and parents of young children. I'm passionate about offering families evidence-based information about key topics including:
Fourth trimester
How to help your baby make the transition from the womb to the outside world.
Baby brain development
An overview of how babies' brains develop and how parents can support their baby to grow into a happy and confident child.
Sleep
Understand the biology of baby sleep, how to optimise baby sleep and debunk common myths about baby sleep.
Bonding
Understand attachment and ways to support the bonding process.
Responsive parenting
Understand how to build a healthy baby-parent relationship by responding sensitively to your baby's needs.
Perinatal mental health/self care
Looking after your own mental health as parents as well as identifying when it might be useful to reach out for further support.
Myth busting
Common myths debunked.
Recommended resources
Useful books, websites, products and more.
If you are interested in booking your own group workshop, for example with your NCT group, please get in contact to discuss details and pricing.
Partners and other family members are welcome and encouraged to join the workshops.
For those who prefer an individual approach, I offer tailored 1:1 sessions.
These can be for parents who are looking for information/advice about general baby and child development, or for families who have specific concerns, such as how to prepare an older sibling for the arrival of a new baby.
